We have a number of coaches for the classes which are held on Tuesday night 6:30pm – 9:00pm and Saturday morning 6:55am – 7:55am. Sessions are run at 1/2 hour or hour intervals. Adults are welcome to swim during 8.00pm - 9.00pm on Tuesday nights at a reduced fee. A fitness programme will be provided but this is not a coached session.
As new swimmers gain more confidence they graduate to classes teaching more skills.
Race nights are held approximately once a term for the first three terms on a Tuesday night. All session swimmers may come to these events. Club Champs are held in term 4 over two nights. Prize giving is held in December.
For those who want to compete in wider competition - this is encouraged but not compulsory - there are a number of external meetings for both the novice as well as the more competent swimmer. See "Competitive Swimming" on the Resources page.
Hutt Swimming Club is a fun family oriented club and prides itself on running lessons within a safe environment.
